Cite Up operates from two strategically located offices in the northern and southern regions of Trinidad, boasting a team of over 200 people, dedicated to delivering the core services we offer.

From the inception of Cite Up in 2001, I embarked on a journey fueled by ambition and dedication. Together, we transformed a modest venture with just four team members, into one of the leading trade marketing execution providers in the Caribbean with over 200 employees, and a trusted partner of the biggest names in the FMCG business. While I’ve since passed the reins to my son Corie, my dedication to the success of Cite Up remains unwavering in my role as chairman of the board.

Through prosperity and adversity, we’ve upheld our core values of integrity, continuous learning, doing things differently, prioritizing relationship over rights and commitment to win-win solutions, which have defined our success. 2001 - 2006

Twenty-Four Square Feet And Ambitious Plans

Founded in 2001 by Ken Corbie in a modest 24-square-foot home office, Cite Up initiated operations in 2005 by securing its first significant trade-marketing contract for Sony Ericsson. This marked the beginning of managing Caribbean-wide promotions and merchandising for the global telecom giant. In the subsequent year, Cite Up achieved another milestone by securing its first major research project with Clarks. In 2006, the company launched "Retail is Detail" and "Focus on Service" initiatives in Trinidad, hosting seminars with experts from Disney, The Ritz-Carlton, and Nordstrom.

2007-2011

Hitting The Ground Running

In 2010, Cite Up expanded with a new office in Trinidad, opened one in Jamaica, and entered Barbados. It established itself as a key trade-marketing partner in the Caribbean, handling regional merchandising for telecom leaders like Blackberry and Samsung. 2011 sees Cite Up manage Sony promotions for the U-17 women’s world cup held in Trinidad and in the same year the company undergoes a major rebrand. Simultaneously, Yes Careers is created as a subsidiary of Cite Up to provide recruitment, staffing and training services.

2012-2018

Breaking Through

In 2015 Cite Up secures its first contract with a major FMCG company for supermarket merchandising - Unilever Caribbean. Subsequently the company would go on to add clients such as Coca Cola Trinidad, Carib Brewery and Angostura. 2015 also saw the appointment of Corie Sheppard-Babb as the managing director of Cite Up and the company would appoint its first board of directors in 2017, reinforcing the foundations for future success.

2019-2023

Striving For Excellence In The Face Of Adversity

In 2020, despite challenges from the Covid-19 pandemic, Cite Up remained operational, supporting clients, 200 employees, and their families. The company expanded post-pandemic, opening a second Trinidad office in Saint Augustine, and initiating its inaugural 'Gondola Wars' event to promote trade marketing excellence within its team. In 2023, Cite Up celebrated its 18th year in operation and installed Jacqueline Thompson as the company’s first ever operations manager. Cite Up remains committed to being the leading trade-marketing and market research partner for FMCG companies in the Caribbean.
